If you are hosting your own wedding and paying for it completely, then you can pretty much do what you want with wording. Here are two samples of invitation wording that you can be guided by.
A note though –
If you are planning on using only your first names on the invitation, so you have the “Ta Dah” moment, it is still a nice ‘nod’ to your family names to include it on the invite.
Think down the track, a distant relative finding your invite, and saying… Oh! That was my Great Aunt Emma!
