Square or oversized invites might look nice,
but they can be double (or more) the cost to post. 

For example:
To post a 13 x 18.5cm envelope within Australia
is currently $1.70 each.

To post a Square or C5 envelope within Australia
is currently $3.40 each.

(current costs as at September 2025)

And boxed invites cost waaaaay more.
Step away from the boxes, if you are on a budget!

So if you’re mailing most of your invites, 
check the postage rate for your envelope size 
before you commit.

If you can hand deliver half of your invitations 
it isn’t such a big deal.
